STARTUP VALUATION CALCULATOR
Put Your Valuation Assumptions to Work.
Select your industry, enter revenue and see an illustrative valuation. Industry options show U.S. public-company EV/revenue references from January 2026, not startup valuation benchmarks.
YOUR SCENARIO
Growth means the total revenue change you expect over the next year, after lost customers and cancellations. Enter 25 for 25% growth, or −10 for a 10% decline. No separate churn entry is needed.
How This Calculator Works
Annual revenue = the annual amount entered, or monthly recurring revenue × 12. Current enterprise value = annual revenue × the selected revenue multiple. Equity value = enterprise value + current cash on hand − current debt, floored at zero. Next-year enterprise value = annual revenue × (1 + expected annual growth ÷ 100) × the same multiple. Growth already includes lost revenue; do not subtract churn again.
Industry references use January 2026 U.S. public-company EV/Sales data from Aswath Damodaran, NYU Stern. Labels map to the corresponding published sectors; Software / SaaS uses System & Application Software, and Retail / E-commerce uses Retail (General). These broad public-company references are not private startup transaction multiples or live quotes. Size, liquidity, profitability, margins, growth and business model can materially change the appropriate multiple. Select Other / Custom Multiple to use your own comparable-company assumption.
The next-year scenario is not discounted to present value. Cash and debt are held at current levels for the current equity estimate. Preferred rights, dilution, taxes, minority interests and other claims are excluded. This model is unsuitable for pre-revenue ventures, banks, insurance companies or asset-based funds; those require other valuation methods. Estimates are educational, not an appraisal, investment advice or a forecast of financing terms.
Illustrative inputs only. Not investment advice or a prediction of financing terms. Calculator entries stay in this page and are not submitted with signup forms.
PAID AD COST OF CAPITAL CALCULATOR
From Campaign Spend to Funded Capital.
Model one campaign cohort from lead generation through funded investment. Change the assumptions to understand where conversion and cost have the greatest impact.
ILLUSTRATIVE CAMPAIGN METRICS
Hypothetical results from your inputs; not a forecast. Investor counts are modeled averages.
Assumptions & Calculation
Leads = ad spend ÷ cost per lead. Closed investors = leads × closed investor rate. The closed investor rate is the percentage of leads that become funded investors. Gross capital = closed investors × average funded investment. Total modeled cost = ad spend + fixed costs. Fundraising cost ratio = total modeled cost ÷ gross capital. Net capital = gross capital − modeled cost. Capital per ad dollar = gross capital ÷ ad spend. This fundraising multiple is not revenue-based ROAS, profit, or investment ROI; raised capital belongs to the offering and is not business earnings.
Use the same campaign cohort throughout, allowing enough time for investments to fund. Fractional investors are mathematical averages, not literal people or commitments. All starting values are hypothetical, not Mustard Capital results, pricing or market benchmarks. Add legal, platform, creative and other costs to your assumptions as applicable. This ratio is a fundraising expense measure, not WACC, an interest rate or an investor return. It excludes any costs you do not enter.
No funding outcome is guaranteed. Public offering advertising is not permitted under Rule 506(b). Other exemptions have advertising conditions; confirm the proposed campaign with securities counsel before launch.
